MEMS OSCILLATORS AEC-Q100 QUALIFIED

Automobiles present one of the most challenging environments for electronics. SiTime automotive oscillators are built to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, airflow, shock, vibration, and EMI.

The AEC-Q100 automotive oscillators deliver the highest performance, reliability, and robustness, making them ideal for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), in-vehicle networking, and safety-critical vehicle automation applications.

SiTime's automotive products are AEC-Q100 qualified and IATF16949 certified.

Description

These MEMS oscillators are AEC-Q100 qualified and can be configured according to customer requirements.

Thanks to their configurability, they ensure a high degree of flexibility during circuit development.

These AEC-Q100 qualified MEMS oscillators are configurable with output frequencies from 1.0 MHz to 137.0 MHz.

They are available with a high frequency stability up to ± 20 ppm and a wide temperature range up to -55 °C ~ +125 °C. A configuration option "FlexEdge™" for higher capacitive loads or configurable rise/fall time for EMI reduction is available. Thanks to their rapid availability, these oscillators offer developers a very high degree of flexibility, as changes to the clock frequency in the circuit are possible in short time.

Description

These differential oscillators for automotive applications are qualified according to AEC-Q100 and offer an extremely low jitter of 0.23 ps or 0.150 ps (typ.) and a frequency stability of ±25 ppm in the presence of common automotive environmental stressors such as shock, vibration, rapid thermal transients, and power supply noise. They can support any frequency in the range from 1 to 920 MHz in 1 Hz steps.
They support all common output signal types including LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL. Low-power HCSL in combination with any voltage between 1.71 V and 3.63 V.

In addition to the standard differential signal types, this device has a unique FlexSwing™ output driver that works like LVPECL but allows independent control of voltage swing and DC offset. It also incorporates multiple on-chip regulators to filter noise on the power supply, eliminating the need for an external dedicated LDO.

Description

SiTime’s AEC-Q100 automotive TCXOs are based on the Elite Platform™ and are engineered to deliver higher dynamic performance, reliability and robustness, making them ideal for autonomous driving systems. These 1 to 220 MHz precision devices with tight stability (±0.1 ppm to ±2.5 ppm) over AEC-Q100-Grade-2 temperature from -40 °C to 105 °C, solve deep-rooted timing problems in harsh automotive environments.

SiTime’s unique DualMEMS™ and TurboCompensation™ temperature sensing technology delivers excellent dynamic performance in the presence of common environmental hazards, such as airflow, temperature perturbation, vibration, shock, power supply noise, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). The products can be factory-programmed to any combination of frequency, stability, voltage, and pull range. This enables designers to customize MEMS TCXO configuration for best system performance while eliminating the long lead time and customization costs .
